Good Thursday
Micah 4:5
“Though all the peoples walk each in the name of his god, as for us, we will walk in the name of the Lord our God forever and ever.”
Zechariah 10:12
“And I will strengthen them in the Lord, and in His name they will walk," declares the Lord.”
Maybe you have heard the phrase- “Walk the Talk”. It simply means that you must live what you claim. Your actions should back up what you say.
Walking in the name of the Lord means the same thing. I’m a believer but for those who don’t know me- my words are not enough. There must be evidence.
When they see me living by the faith I claim to have- then they will listen to what I have to share.
This is why it is essential for all believers to walk in the name of the Lord. Why in the name of the Lord? Because when we claim Jesus as Lord- we stand on the foundation of our faith.
Where do we get our strength and mercy?
